ICC National Certification Information
for Code Professionals
Becoming ICC certified in one or more professional categories
represents a significant accomplishment that offers national
recognition of your achievement; increased earning and career
advancement potential; and proof of your knowledge, technical
expertise and commitment to protect public health safety and
welfare. Becoming ICC certified can be achieved in most categories
by successful completion of one or more examinations and by
submitting additional documentation, when required.

Important Note for All Exam Candidates. As of January 1, 2009, all National Certification examinations that reference the National Electrical Code (excepting E1) will be updated to the 2008 edition of the NEC.
