International Code Adoptions

• The International Building Code (IBC) is adopted at the state or local level in 50 states plus Washington, D.C.
• The International Residential Code (IRC) is adopted at the state or local level in 46 states plus Washington, D.C.
• The International Fire Code (IFC) is adopted at the state or local level in 41 states plus Washington, D.C.
• The International Plumbing Code (IPC) is adopted at the state or local level in 35 states and Washington, D.C.
• The International Mechanical Code (IMC) is adopted at the state or local level in 47 states and Washington, D.C.
• The International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) is adopted at the state or local level in 46 states and Washington, D.C.
