Chapters are an integral component of ICC. Together, we can
build a stronger profession by serving today's busy professionals
with enriching professional development that can be utilized
to facilitate the career progression of members as they become
more knowledgeable, gain respect and excel in the profession.
Chapters can select one of the three following
delivery methods when eligible for their annual Chapter Education
Benefit.
1. On-site seminar
Highly respected instructors interact with participants in a face-to-face forum bringing practical, ready-to-use information designed to increase efficient and effective application of codes back on the job.
With this benefit, ICC will provide the instructor and his/her travel expenses at no charge. In addition, everyone who attends a chapter’s Education Benefit Day and completes the Course Roster will receive complimentary instructional materials. Chapters are required to pre-order materials essential to the delivery of the training for each participant. The chapter will be charged for any materials kept in excess of the number of participants which are not returned to ICC in good condition within 14 days of the training date. The cost for materials retained will be available at member pricing, with applicable chapter discounts.
A minimum of 30 participants are required for the delivery of an on-site day of training. The facility shall be provided by the Chapter.
Chapters may choose from a variety of seminars. If the seminar is more than one day in length, the additional day(s) will need to be contracted. Two half-day seminars must be delivered on the same day. One half-day seminar can be selected, but will fulfill the benefit. Note: ICC reserves the right to limit availability of certain seminars for use as a chapter education benefit.
One day of on-site training may be carried over to the following year when combined and delivered with another on-site training day or another paid training day on the same day or consecutive days.
Chapters may also combine training days for the purpose of holding a joint chapter education event. Chapters participating in such an event may use their on-site training day when delivered at the same location and at the same time or on consecutive days.

2. On-the-Phone: Provide training to
ten different sites
Telephone Seminars allow ICC to bring the foremost authorities
on code topics directly to an office or home via speakerphone.
Events are typically 90 minutes in length and usually take
place in conference rooms with participation only being
limited to the size of the room available.
This format is generally used for in-depth examination
of specific topics. On the average, between 10 and 20 persons
participate at a single site.
Telephone seminars are ideal for chapters who have members
that are geographically dispersed. You can select a Telephone
Seminar as your chapter education benefit and have it delivered
toll-free to a maximum of 10 sites.

Available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, the ICC Campus
Online features over 80 online courses on both technical
and soft-skill subjects. All learning takes place between
the course participant and the computer. Students engage
by participating in various activities, such as case studies,
application of code tables to specific examples and analysis
of photos to determine compliance or noncompliance of structures.
Most online courses require between two and four hours to
complete. You can register up to 50 participants in an online
