The
GR Federal Agencies Team was established to guide ICC activities
with Executive Branch agencies of the federal government.
The GR staff has and continues to monitor the activities of
and interact with federal agencies. The ICC is strengthening
its interaction with key decision-making federal agencies
in order to secure recognition and use of ICC codes and standards
and services as well as their increased participation with
the ICC.
Interactions with the agencies, offices and programs covered
in the ICC Federal plan are intended to address one or more
of the following objectives.
Increased awareness of and recognition by the agency
of relevant ICC services, programs, publications, etc.
Reference to the ICC codes in regulations or other
agency directives
Reliance on the ICC codes by the agency
Reference to or use of the ICC support infrastructure
Contracting with the ICC for services or products
Refer others to or include ICC in their communications
Participation in or support for development of ICC
support programs
Recognition of and participation in the ICC code change
process
Membership and participation in the ICC
Participation in the ICC Federal Agencies Codes and
Standards Forum
