Government Relations
State & Local Activities
This
team is responsible for the implementation of the ICC's state
and local goals such as securing new and existing code adoptions,
raising the level of awareness of ICC's building safety system
at the state and local government level and working in partnership
with our members and code users in promoting the ICC codes
and services to communities across the country.
The GR State & Local Activities division currently has
eighteen staff members in sixteen states who are responsible
for accomplishing our mission. Because each office focuses
on the area that it serves, the staff members in each region
are uniquely qualified to personally answer questions and
provide information and support that will assist you in your
efforts to adopt and implement the International Codes. Staff
members can also introduce you to the wide variety of benefits
and resources that the ICC provides to its members and others
in the design and construction industry. ICC's resources include
membership benefits, training and certification programs,
I-Code software and support, code interpretations and plan
review services.
