Provides the permit technician with the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform their jobs in code administration: legal aspects, code language, code enforcement, reading construction documents, reviewing submitted documents and the permitting and inspection process. Participants will become familiarized with the International Building Code and the International Residential Code and sharpen customer relations skills.
This course is intended to help you become the best permit technician you can be.

Attend this ICC institute and earn ICC CEUs, AIA Learning Units (LUs) and Health Safety and Welfare credit (HSW)*
While this ICC Institute does not specifically prepare individuals for an ICC certification examination, it does serve as an excellent opportunity to earn CEUs towards renewing any ICC Certification or preparation for career advancement.
*Continuing education recognition pending from state licensing boards.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellation requests must be received in writing in order to receive a refund. Refunds are subject to a processing fee. There will be NO REFUNDS for cancellations received one calendar week prior to the scheduled training event.
International Code Council reserves the right to cancel any training event having insufficient registrations. If that occurs, all prepaid fees will be refunded in full. International Code Council cannot be responsible for any losses resulting from the cancellation of a training event.
